I’m not a career politician. I’m a local man, a single father, and someone who understands the real challenges facing families across the Scottish Borders.
Over the years, I’ve worked in our community, supported vulnerable people, and served as an Independent Councillor — always putting people before politics.
I’m standing for the Scottish Parliament because the Borders deserves a stronger, more independent voice. One that listens, learns, and acts in the best interests of local people — not party agendas.
Real experience. Real community focus. Real change.
Standing up for families, not party agendas.
Our NHS, schools, and emergency services are the backbone of our communities. I will fight for proper funding and ensure that rural areas like ours are not left behind.
Older residents deserve respect, dignity, and reliable care. I will work to improve care services and ensure support is there when families need it most.
Too many young people feel they have to leave the Borders to build a future. I will push for more apprenticeships, skills training, and local opportunities to keep talent in our communities.
Farming and fishing are vital to the Borders economy and way of life. I will stand up for rural industries and ensure they are properly supported, not overlooked.
Local businesses are the heart of our towns. I will champion policies that help them grow, reduce unnecessary pressures, and bring life back to our high streets.
For too long, decisions have been made elsewhere without understanding our needs. I will push for fair funding and ensure the Borders gets the attention and investment it deserves.
I believe the people of the Scottish Borders are best served by someone who is accountable to them — not to a political party.
